Satoshi Tomiie is a Japanese DJ and producer based in New York. He had early success in 1989 with "[m=61791]," a co-production with [a=Frankie Knuckles]. In the early 1990's, he toured with [a=Ryuichi Sakamoto], and has become known for remixes of artists including [a=U2], [a=Mariah Carey], [a=Photek], [a=Simply Red], and [a=David Bowie].
At the turn of the millennium, Satoshi introduced a new club sound via 1999’s "[m=86868]," album that helped define a developing house scene. The single "[m=86910]," became a worldwide underground hit.
In 2015 he launched new label [l=Abstract Architecture] and released his 2nd album "[m=855842]"
