Test Drive 4X4 / Test Drive Off-Road 2
DONE. Just like other Test Drive games, music is hardcoded on PC per specific track. To get all tracks unlocked on PC, go to World Tour, hold Right Shift key and click on Reset World Tour to get 999999 bucks and all tracks unlocked. On PC version, all the music is in CD-Audio format - can be played even by WIndows Media Player - and intro is not played by default but it is included on game's CD. On PC songs can play in both menu and race. Order of songs on PC based on layout in CD-Audio format. For PS1, full vocal versions play only in main menu, while race features instrumental short versions. Race versions are in file tdor2.dat, while full versions in shell.xa. Use jPSXdec to extract audio from SHELL.xa and PSound201 to get music from tdor2.dat. These race versions are not hardcoded to specific race or location. No info about song title neither in menu nor gameplay. In PS1 order of songs based on shell.xa file indexes. Links updated with music.youtube.com. No music in demo version. Trailers checked.
