SX Superstar
Game does not have any jukebox menu to switch on or off certain songs. It is only possible to set the volume. Main menu has hardcoded song. Songs are playing randomly in the events and will continue playing when restarting event. Once song is finished, it loops again. Song titles are not displayed anywhere in the game. To get new song, it is necessary to quit the race completely and start it again. PS2 version uses MIB format with files stored in "sound" folder. They are missing MIH files which are critical to play MIB files. MIH files are stored in superc.bad / superc.bah which can be extracted using QuickBMS script for Hot Wheels World Race. Once MIH and MIB files are present together, foobar2000 can play it. GameCube uses DSP format, also playable by foobar2000. Xbox has WAV files but there is also some DSP logic that does not play WAV correctly anywhere else. Songs here are duplicated as to imitiate stereo instead of mono. In-game versions available. Songs ordered by filenames. File names per song added. Licensed music titles checked. Links updated with music.youtube.com. Trailers checked. January 2003 beta has only one song, used in menu. April 2003 beta has the same soundtrack as retail.
