Born on March 21, 1969, in San Jose, California, he gained recognition in the 1990s through his collaborations with rapper [a=Charles Hicks (2)] as [a=Charizma & Peanut Butter Wolf]. After [a=Charizma]’s passing in 1993, Peanut Butter Wolf established Stones Throw in 1996, shaping the careers of artists like [a=Madlib], [a=J Dilla], and [a=MF DOOM]. Known for his deep vinyl knowledge and eclectic DJ sets, he remains a key figure in underground hip-hop and alternative music.
