Info about Contagion
Contagion formed in 1988 using the name Biohazard PCB. After several independent releases, the group signed with [l4935], a development arm of Capitol Records. With the release of [m858060] in 1992 they had adopted their current name. North American tours with fellow industrial acts Front Line Assembly, Nine Inch Nails and Die Warsaw and a remix of the song "Turn of the Screw" by members of Skinny Puppy raised the group's profile. "Hate", a single from 2000's [r308720] appeared on five motion picture soundtracks. A new album set for 2008 was axed after fire destroyed the band’s recording studios. A career spanning compilation [m1677057] appeared in 2011. The band has turned up on several video game soundtracks (“Recoil”, “Metal Fatigue”, “X-Men”, “The Walking Dead” and "Thrill Kill") and their next project, to be titled Outbreak, is tied to the INFEX video game.
