Info about Deer Mother

Short-lived rock act, based in Los Angeles.

Bio taken from the Soundcloud profile shows:

Singer Jesse Thomas has a burgeoning career of her own as a singer / songwriter. Her first album War Dancer (2012) charted at Billboard in three categories, and she was Starbuck's artist "Pick of the Week" with 2.1 million download cards in the U.S. and Canada.

Deer mother's guitar player Sari Mellafe, has had similar success with her band The Young Romans. Upon the release of their first record "Tiger Child" they were the iTunes "free download of the week" and had their song "Where You Go" as the end credits in the film "Salmon Fishing In The Yemen" with Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt.

Guitar player and producer Jim Roach owns Red Parade Music the label that has both Jesse and The Young Romans. He also happens to produce all of the records that come out on the label. "Our label is very much like a family and we're all so used to working together that this side project was a seamless transition. It's a fun outlet for all of us." says Jim.
