Ceci was born in Tijuana, Baja California, México. and is well known for playing keyboards and vocals in Mexico's punk rock band '[a1598091]' at the early age of 15. Later Bastida also played keyboards for former '[a1598091]' band member [a85181] and is currently a key member of '[a4924740]', Mexican tribute band to the music from '[a83080]'.
In 2010 she released her first solo album, '[m1389092]' that was nominated for a Latin Grammy, later released '[r12225592]'
