Info about It Dies Today
Melodic metalcore band from Buffalo, New York, formed in September 2001. They released a demo in 2001 and a debut EP in 2002, establishing themselves in the local scene. After signing with Trustkill Records in April 2004, they issued their first full-length that September and gained wider recognition. Vocalist Nicholas Brooks departed in 2006, and Jason Wood officially joined in January 2007. The band went on hiatus in 2010, briefly reunited in 2012 with Brooks returning to vocals, and played a handful of select shows between 2014 and 2015 before becoming inactive again. They resurfaced at Furnace Fest in 2023 with Brooks back on vocals, releasing new singles, celebrating anniversaries of their early work, and performing regularly at festivals and regional venues through 2025.
