U.S. garage rock / heavy psychedelic / proto punk rock band (formed in Ann Arbor, Michigan 1967 by [a11073], Dave Alexander, Ron and Scott Asheton) that are thought to have kickstarted the punk rock revolution. The band was originally known as the "Psychedelic Stooges".
