From 1958 he began his professional career as a studio musician (mainly guitar) in Los Angeles, spending several years playing with the group of instrumentalists later known as "The Wrecking Crew". Recorded with The Champs in 1960, the Hondells in 1964, the Beach Boys in 1965 and Sagittarius in 1967.
Had his own TV show , The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour from 1968-72.
Acted in movies True Grit, Norwood and Strange Homecoming. Provided his voice in the animated movie Rock-A-Doodle.
Inducted into The Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
